Julia Lee Bradley's Obituary
Julia Lee Bradley of Federalsburg passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was 70.
She was born on November 9, 1943 in Seaford, DE, the daughter of the late Julian McMullen and Beatrice Smith McMullen.
She married Melvin Bradley on August 20, 1960. She worked for North Dorchester High School Cafeteria and later worked at Tri Gas and Oil in Federalsburg for 22 years. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and enjoyed attending the Gathering at Union United Methodist Church. She loved to travel with her husband and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Melvin Bradley of Federalsburg, two sons, Alan Bradley and his wife, Debbie of Reliance, and Doug Bradley and his wife, Tammy of Federalsburg, five grandchildren; Jason Bradley, Jenna Bradley, Josh Bradley, Buddy Irons and Skyler Irons; her step mother, Pauline McMullen of Seaford, DE; a brother, Larry McMullen of Blades, DE; three cousins, Ben Chaffinch and his wife, Kay of Seaford, DE; Carol Benson and her husband William of Laurel, DE; and Clay Chaffinch of Seaford, DE; She was preceded in death by a brother, William McMullen, and a grandson, Jeremy Bradley.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Kevin Gillespie officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00.
