Julia Catherine Hobbs' Obituary
Julia Catherine Hobbs of Hurlock, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Tidal Health at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, DE. She was 82.
She was born on February 27, 1942 in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Roscoe Rollins and Amelia Rawlings Rollins.
She married the late Norman Anderson in 1965 and they made their home in Edgewater, Maryland and later moved to Preston, Maryland.
She was a homemaker most all of her life and enjoyed her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, word searches, playing Skip-Bo, and watching Blue Bloods.
She is survived by four children: Sheri Kennedy and her husband Bill of Hurlock, Michael Anderson and his wife Felicia of Bowie, Debbie Anderson and her husband Timmy of Edgewater, and Angie Anderson and her husband Chris Bowen of Federalsburg; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one brother David Robison and his wife Susan of Sarasota, FL.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Norman Anderson and Keith Anderson and a sister Jeanette Tritipoe.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Marie Coulbourne officiating. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00.
