Julia Zelenski's Obituary
Julia Olive Curtin Zelenski of Federalsburg, MD died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at The Pines Genesis ElderCare in Easton, MD. She was 80.
She was born July 18, 1926 in Washington, DC the daughter of the late James Edward Curtin and Edna May Darnall Curtin.
She was a graduate of Eastern High School in Washington, DC and has been employed by the Prince George’s County Board of Education as a cafeteria worker. She and her husband were former owners of the Village Inn in Federalsburg.
She is survived by her husband of over 55 years, Stanley Anthony Zelenski, whom she married on Dec. 9, 1950, 4 children, Judy Hunt and her husband Tom, of Cheverly, MD, Stephanie Zelenski of Frankford, DE, Denise Sapienza and her husband, Joe, of LaPlata, MD, and Dawn Quinton and her husband, Cody of Harmony, seven grandchildren, Stacy and Chris Humphries, Tommy Hunt, Nicole and J.B. Sapienza, Caitlin and Mikayla Quinton, 2 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Ian Moynihan, a brother, Lou Curtin of Crofton, MD, several nieces, nephews, and a dear friend of the family, Amy Reiner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at 12:00 o’clock noon at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00.
