Katherine Adaline Engle's Obituary
Katherine Adaline Marshall Engle passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at UMSMC at Easton. She was 87.
She was born in Trappe, on November 22, 1930, the daughter of the late Harvey Robert Marshall and Rosa Emma Jones Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Leroy Engle who passed away on January 14, 2011.
Mrs. Engle lived in Caroline County almost 80 years. She worked with her husband raising chickens for 50 years. She was a member of the Tuckahoe Steam & Gas Association.
She is survived by two children, Robert Lee "Yogi" Engle and his wife Diana of Seaford, DE, Toni Lynn Cunningham and her husband Donald of Greenwood, DE, four grandchildren, Thomas "Tommy" Engle (Michelle) of Bridgeville, Robert Lee Engle, II (Trish) of New Braunfels,Texas, Shelley Marie Hall of Christiana, PA, Jason Andrews Hall (Chrislyn) of Anchorage, Alaska, 7 great-grandchildren, Mitchell Engle, Deanna Hall, Sean Hall, Audrey Hall, Ella Chesney, Caleb Chesney, and Riley Engle, a close niece, Ruth Ann Fluharty of Wye Mills, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Louise McNeal and Mary Royer.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston with Rev. Bill Thomas officiating.
