Kathy Marie Blackwell passed away on February 26, 2024, at TidalHealth Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, DE surrounded by her loved ones. Born on April 7, 1959, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Blackwell and Donna Downey.
Kathy lived a simple yet fulfilling life, finding joy in tending to her vegetable garden and preparing delicious meals for her family. Her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter was evident in every moment she shared with them.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Anthony Cronin; her daughter Annie Fleek and son Robert Fleek both of Federalsburg; six granddaughters: Faith Blackwell, Justice Muncie, Hope Muncie, Alexis Fleek and Mercedes Fleek all of Federalsburg and Destiny Pierce of Hurlock; three grandsons: Franklin Witt and Joshua Blackwell of Federalsburg and Christopher Wilson of Pennsylvania; and three great-grandchildren: Gabriel Pierce, Sean Pierce and Layla Covington. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Donna Blackwell.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Kathy's life will be held on Monday March 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD. Prior to the service, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation starting at 10:00 am.
Kathy will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens at 5598 Trumps Mill Road in Baltimore, MD 21206.
Kathy's legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
