Kenneth G Knopp's Obituary
Kenneth G Knopp of Easton passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. He was 65.
He was born on December 22, 1951 in Easton, Maryland, the son of the late Benjamin F. Knopp and Audrey Noble Sewell Knopp.
He graduated from Easton High School with the class of 1970. In 1972 he married the love of his life, Jacqueline Patchett Knopp and they made their home in Easton.
Over the years, he worked in contractor sales for area lumber and building supply stores. An avid baseball player, his passion transitioned into softball and he played for the Tidewater Softball League. When he wasn’t on the ball field, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Jacqueline Patchett Knopp, one son, Kennth Knopp and his fiancé Charish Arthur, a daughter, Kristy Casale and her husband Anthony all of Easton; five grandchildren; Madison, Emily, Colt, Nate and Nick; two brothers, Kevin Knopp and his wife Ronnie of Easton and Kraig Knopp and his wife Connie of Easton and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Marie Knopp, Kimberly Ann Knopp and one brother, Keith Knopp.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 at the Easton Presbyterian Church, 617 North Washington Street in Easton with Pastor Duke Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 at the church. Inurnment will be private.
