Thomas Kenneth "Kenny" Sherwood, Sr.'s Obituary
Thomas Kenneth Sherwood, affectionately known as "Kenny", of Trappe, Maryland passed away June 6, 2025 at University of Maryland Medical Center - Mid Town Campus in Baltimore following a brief illness.
Born September 5, 1952 in Easton, he was the son of the late Willard Kenneth and Rose Marie Holland Sherwood.
Kenny was a hard worker. He was a truck driver for Moore's Lumber and Building Supplies for 42 years. That's where he met his future wife, Penny Diefenderfer. Kenny was a past member of the Cordva Volunteer Fire Department and on the rare occasion he wasn't working, Kenny enjoyed crabbing and hunting or watching a Nascar race, Mark Martin being his long time favorite driver.
In addition to his wife, Penny, Kenny is survived by his children: Tracy Gannon, Tommy Sherwood, Barry Sherwood, Geoff Diefenderfer, Kelley Cummings, Nick Newnam and Andrew Diefenderfer; 18 grandchildren and two brothers.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents Willard And Rose Marie Sherwood.
