Kenneth Lee Smith's Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Smith of Federalsburg passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Compass Regional Hospice in Centreville, Maryland. He was 50.
He was born on September 23, 1965 in Seaford, Delaware the son of George Smith and Patsy Harold Smith both of Federalsburg.
He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1983. He later graduated from Salisbury State University.
He married Sandra Rodzinski on March 30, 1991. He worked at H & M Bay as a freight broker and dispatcher for 17 years until his illness.
Kenny was a strong supporter and volunteer of the Soap Box Derby races. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Above all, his family meant the most to him. He always loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Sandra Rodzinski Smith of Federalsburg, one daughter, Caitlin Smith and one son, Christopher Smith, two sisters, Karen Kemp and her husband Eric; and Kelly Adams and her husband Fred, Jr. all of Federalsburg; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Blanche & Lee Smith and Rhoda and Marshall Harold.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Peter Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 and on Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:00.
