Kenneth Lee Willis Sr's Obituary
Kenneth Lee Willis, Sr.of Federalsburg went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at UMSMC at Easton. He was 90.
He was born on November 5, 1923 in Friendship, Maryland the son of the late Harry P. Willis and Lelia Noble Towers Willis. He was a dairy and grain farmer and after retirement was a courier for Provident State Bank
He is survived by his wife, Betty M. Breeding Willis, a son, Kenneth L. Willis, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Federalsburg, a daughter, Barbara A. Blades and her husband Gary Dale Blades of Federalsburg, four grandchildren, Lisa Townsend and her husband Butch, Aaron Willis and his wife Stephanie, Kelly Howard and her fiancé Bobby Howard and Karen Mensonides and her husband Mike, eight great-grandchildren, Matthew and Mason Willis, Lauren and Meredith Howard, Jack and Samantha Townsend, Jamie and Ryan Mensonides, two sisters, Norma Nagel of Federalsburg and Joyce Cohee of Preston, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Robert Willis and Harry P. Willis and a sister Virginia McMahan.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with a long-time pastor and friend of the Willis family, Reverend Denzil Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 1:00 prior to the service. Entombment will be private.
