Kristin Marie "Krissy" Winder's Obituary
Kristin Marie “Krissy” Winder of Milford, DE passed away at Milford Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 22, 2010. She was 29 years old.
She was born on April 3, 1981 in Seaford, DE, the daughter of Deborah Winder of Milford and the late Ernest Louis Jackson, Jr.
She graduated from Sussex Tech and continued her education at cosmetology school in New Jersey. She was a certified nurses assistant at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford.
Besides her mother she is survived by two children, Elijah Oney and Stephen Slayton, a brother, Skylar Winder of Milford and foster mother Stacia Gurley.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by grandparents, Andrew Smiley, Isabella Jackson, and Louise Mathews, Aunt Gigi, and cousins Dean Smiley and Aaron Church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Canaan Full Gospel Church, 283 School St., Houston, DE with Minister Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Laurel, DE. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9 to 11 am.
