Larry O Blades' Obituary
Larry Orvil Blades, 64, was born April 18, 1953. He departed this life on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton, in Easton, MD.
He was the son of the late Orville Lee Blades and the late Louise Jeanette Christopher. He married the love of his life, Rose Mary Wooters, on July 3, 1971.
He was employed by the Caroline County Road Department where he was a Heavy Machinery Operator for over 40 years. He loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing, cutting grass, and growing all types of fruit and vegetables in his garden. He also enjoyed painting figures for his wife.
He is survived by, his wife, Rose Mary Blades, a daughter, Lisa Ball and her husband Terry, two grandchildren, Kevin “Zachary” Ball, and Katlyn Ball, three great grandchildren, Khylee Felgenhour, Jordan Belote, and Addison Faith, two brothers, Dorsey Blades and his wife Mariam, and Robert Blades and his wife Emily, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD, with Reverend Danny Ashley officiating. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm-7:00pm prior to the start of the service.
