Laura Jean Rojas-Vail's Obituary
Laura Jean Rojas-Vail of Preston died at University Hospital in Baltimore, MD on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014. She was 53.
She was born in Trenton, NJ on April 12, 1961 the daughter of Vivian Custer Fulkerson of Preston and the late Eugene B. Fulkerson. She was a graduate of Lighthouse Academy in Easton in 1979, and also graduated from Chesapeake College with a degree in Civil Rights of Law. She had last worked as a free-lance Spanish interpreter. In addition to her mother she is survived by two sons, Eugene Williams and Kenneth M. Vail of Preston, a granddaughter, Nyla Williams, a sister, Bonnie S. Kerman and her husband Michael of Romeo, MI, a brother, Charles R. “Chuck” Fulkerson of Preston and nieces and nephews Jennifer, Eli, Willa, Lela and Justin and a favorite cousin Sandra Custer of Preston. She will also be mourned by her loving birth mother, Catherine Marshall of Burlington, VT. Funeral services for her will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 to 1:00.
