Lauren J. Hapeman's Obituary
Lauren Hapeman, 77, of Lewes, passed away on Thursday, May 18th, 2023. She was born in Queens, New York, on September 12th, 1945, to Milton and Anita Bollinger.
Lauren grew up in Greenlawn, New York, before marrying and moving to Centerport, New York, where she raised a loving family and ran a small business. After retiring, she moved to Lewes, where she attended Lewes Presbyterian Church and volunteered in its soup kitchen. As an avid gardener, Lauren participated in local garden clubs, tended to the church's flowers, and diligently worked in her gardens. When not at church or gardening, Lauren loved spending time with her friends, family, and pets, Sophie and Boots.
Lauren is survived by her three children Chris (Amy) Hapeman, Kimberly Hamilton, and Heather (Nate) Taylor, and her sister Karen (John) Green; nephews Scott and Todd, and niece Susan.
