Lee A. Davis' Obituary
Lee Anjanette Davis (Anjy) of Greenwood, DE, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2024, at Milford Center. Anjy was born on July 2, 1966, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE, to Gary Davis and Jo Anne Davis.
In spite of her own physical hardship, she led a life marked by generosity and hospitality. Many friends knew the warmth and comfort of her home when they were going through tough times. She had many pets over the years, and loved them all, but those who knew her well know she especially loved her Pekingese, Penelope. Anjy resided at Milford Center for the last eight years of her life, where she made many cherished friends and had a profound impact on everyone she interacted with. The staff at Milford Center held a special place in Anjy's heart. They were kind, generous, and treated her like family. She will be dearly missed by many.
Anjy was preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Jo Anne Davis.
Anjy is survived by her only child, Alexander L. Davis (Emmalee); sister, Cindy L. Pearson (Curtis); brother, Tyler S. Davis; and grandchildren, Elsie M. Davis and Aaron L. Davis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, March 8th, at Atlanta Road Alliance Church, 22625 Atlanta Rd, Seaford, DE 19973.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brandywine Valley SPCA located at 22918 Dupont Boulevard, Georgetown, Delaware 19947.
