Leonard Riccio's Obituary
Leonard J. Riccio 85, died at his home near Federalsburg with his family by his side on Saturday, November 4, 2006.
He was born in Stroudsburg, PA the son of the late John Leonard Riccio and Lucy DePalma Riccio.
He was a retired U S Navy Veteran of 30 years retiring as a Chief Petty Officer.
He was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Seaford, DE, the American Legion, Kings Solomon Lodge A. F. & A. M. in Greenwich, RI and he was a member of the Fleet Reserve # 42 in New Kingstown, RI..
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth S. Thomas Riccio, two daughters, Rosie Mueller and her husband Jim of Federalsburg and Patricia Gibson of Key West FL, a son, John Riccio and his wife Judy of North Kingstown, RI, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Loretta Lee and Mary Riccio formerly of Stroudsburg, PA preceded him in death.
Funeral services for him will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 12 noon at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Seaford, DE with Rev. Jean Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. Viewing will be private.
