Leroy Pittman's Obituary
Leroy Pittman, Jr. was born April 9, 1962 in Milford, DE to the late Leroy Pittman, Sr. and Betty Dennis Pittman. He departed this life on November 24, 2008 at the age of 46.
*Leroy, better known to his friends as family as "Junior" was educated in Woodbridge School District. Junior graduated from Woodbridge Senior High in 1980. He served several years in the Army Reserves. Junior was employed as a forklift operator at B & G Foods Corporation for more than fifteen years until his health began to fail. He was also a big fan of drag racing. Above all, he loved being with his family and friends.
*Leroy was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Pittman Holmes and one brother, Mickey Pittman.
*He leaves to celebrate his life: his mother, Betty Pittman of Bridgeville, DE, four daughters, Shanikqua Trammell and Lefeisha Williamson of Dover, DE, Lakita Pittman of Easton, MD, Keyasha Pittman of Cambridge, MD; five sons, LeVonta Dockins of Delaware, LeRon Pittman of Cambridge, MD, Rashean Oney of Federalsburg, MD, DaJon and DaVeion Pittman of Hurlock, MD; five sisters, Debra Pittman of Seaford, DE, Pensacola Pittman-Deshield of North Carolina, Rena Chambers of Belle Glads, FL, Juanita Gonzalez of West Palm Beach, FL, and Teresa Pittman of Tallahassee, FL; three brothers, Ernie L. Pittman of Bridgeville, DE, Everett Pittman and Alvin Pittman both of Pahokee, FL; seven grandchildren, one uncle, James Dennis of Greenwood, DE, one aunt, Mary Smith of Bridgeville, DE, one very special and devoted friend, TeShonda Thomas of Hurlock, MD, his best friend, and brother, Cedrick "Byrd" Bolden of Federalsburg, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral is planned for Monday, December 1, 2008 at 1p.m. at Park Lane Church of God in Federalsburg. Interment will follow in Federal Hill Cemetery.
