Lillian Mae Leeser's Obituary
Lillian Mae Mitchell Leeser of Federalsburg, MD passed away at her home on February 18, 2011. She was 87.
She was born on April 8, 1923 in Caroline County, the daughter of the late James Edward Mitchell and Anna Mary Clevenger Mitchell. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Albert Louis Leeser.
Lillian had worked in the payroll department at the former Caroline Poultry and also for Airpax Assembly Center. She enjoyed watching wrestling. Her true love was her family in which she thoroughly enjoyed.
She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Paul and her husband, Joe of Cokesbury, and Dottie Todd and her husband J.L. of Harmony, six grandchildren, Lisa Marino and her husband Frank of Bethany Beach, Joey Paul of Seaford, Bonnie Brown and her husband, Dallas of Denton,Jimmy Todd and his wife, Trish of Denton, and Jennifer and Deborah Lesser of Michigan. She was blessed with nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Norma Lee Lecates and her husband, Alvie of Laurel, DE, Mildred Lord of Federalsburg, a brother, Jimmy Mitchell and his wife, Eveylon of Seaford, two special nephews, Bobby Lahman of Federalsburg, and Danny Mitchell of Preston and several other nieces and nephews, a sister-in-law, Ellen Mitchell of Federalsburg, and her caregiver, Donna Smith of Federalsburg, her granddog, Belle and her companion dog, Titus.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Leeser, a daughter, Peggy Leeser, three sisters, Edith Mills, Helen King, Alice Mitchell, and two brothers, Horace Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg at 2 p.m. at Rev. Jim Penuel officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bloomery Cemetery.
