Linda Boda's Obituary
Linda Darlene Boda, born on October 28, 1958, at Milford Memorial Hospital to parents Lawrence Albert Morris and Edna Mae Clendaniel, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2023.
Linda's educational journey took her from Lake Forest School District until her Junior year, after which she attended Laurel High School. She proudly graduated as part of the Bicentennial Class of 1976. Subsequently, she earned a certificate in Accounting from Ken Business School in Newport News, VA.
In 1979, Linda married her high school sweetheart, John Carroll McDorman. Together, they were blessed with two sons, William Carroll McDorman and Matthew Sterling McDorman.
Linda found immense joy in various activities, but her true passion was sewing. She poured her love into creating cherished items for her children and grandchildren, leaving behind tangible reminders of the love she held for them.
Linda was a devout member of Victory Tabernacle, where her faith was a cornerstone of her life.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Morris, and her mother, Edna Chipman.
Linda is survived by her son William Carroll McDorman, her daughter-in-law Christy McDorman, and her granddaughter Payton Hope McDorman. She is also survived by her son Matthew Sterling McDorman, his fiancée Sierra Schultheis, and her granddaughter, Evelyn Caryl McDorman.
May Linda's memory, her faith, and her love be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 at Victory Tabernacle Church of God in Laurel.
