Linda Elaine Kyper's Obituary
Linda Kyper, 80, passed away Oct. 04, 2024, at Talbot Hospice House in Easton, Maryland.
She was born Nov. 27, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Earl and Betty Seybert. Linda was a registered nurse who dedicated her life to helping others with special needs. She specialized in Neonatal care and provided care on Life Flight Helicopters, bringing at-risk babies to Johns Hopkins for care. She was especially proud that, with God's Grace, she never lost a baby in her care during the flights. Most of her 29 year nursing career was spent working in the NICU at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.
She had an abiding love for the Eastern Shore and retired to Easton in 2004 after her career. She was an avid gardener and a longtime member of Talbot County Master Gardeners and the Chesapeake Bay Herb Society.
She is also survived by her son Todd and grandchildren Ben and Catherine of Alexandria, Kentucky.
Linda's family is especially grateful for the professional and loving care provided by the staffs of University of Maryland Shore Medical Center and Talbot Hospice House.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Trinity Cathedral, Easton, Md on Saturday, 26 Oct 2024 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Talbot Hospice Foundation, Inc. 586 Cynwood Dr., Easton, MD 21601. Online talbothospice.org.
