Linda Patchett Rosser's Obituary
Linda Patchett Rosser, the second of seven children born to Thomas Frank and Linda Boone Patchett, moved into her mansion in heaven on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was 91 years old.
Linda graduated from Centreville High School in 1943. She attended Goldey Beacom College. In 1948, she graduated from Easton Memorial School of Nursing. She was Head Nurse of the Med-Surg Unit at Easton Memorial Hospital for 30 Years. The same year she married Clayton Dalious Rosser and they made their home on the outskirts of Federalsburg, MD. The family enjoyed traveling and cooking.
Linda was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, The Methodist Women, The Federalsburg VFW Auxiliary, The Centreville High School Alumni Association and the Federalsburg Historical Society. In her later years, her hobbies became reading, using the computer, social events and working in the church.
Surviving is a son Gary David Rosser, several nieces and nephews, and a brother-in-law, Sam Chaffey. She was preceded in death by her husband, her first son, Greg Rosser, her parents and 2 sisters, Frances Callahan and Joann Chaffey, 4 brothers, Thomas Frank Patchett, III, Rowland (Happy) Samuel Patchett, Robert Oliver Patchett and Dorsey Dudley Patchett.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Framptom Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00- 11:00 a.m. prior to service. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Cemetery, Federalsburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's memory to a charity of your choice.
