Linda Kenton Standiford's Obituary
Linda Kenton Standiford of Delmar, DE, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. She was 65.
She was born on December 18, 1948 in Easton, Maryland the daughter of the late Kenneth Kenton and Hilda Darling Kenton.
She graduated from Col. Richardson High School with the class of 1966. After school she became a homemaker and started raising her family. She worked at the Federalsburg VFW Post #5246, U.S. Air in Salisbury and later she worked for the Rehoboth Beach Chamber of Commerce.
She married Kevin Standiford on August 2, 2001. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Standiford of Delmar, DE, one son, Shane Hallowell of Laurel, DE, two sisters Patti Startt of Preston and Lori Irwin of Linkwood, MD, 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two children, John Paul “Jay” Jones and Stacey Lynn Jones Pence and one sister, Kathy English.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
