Lisa Maria Golt's Obituary
Lisa Maria Golt, 62 years old, of Preston, Maryland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25,2025, with the love of her family surrounding her. She was born in Easton on March 16, 1962.
Lisa will forever be in the heart of her loving husband, Bruce, of 38 years. Lisa adored her family more than anything in the world, especially devoting everything to her three sons and being GG to her three grandchildren.
Lisa is survived by her husband Bruce; her children Justin and daughter-in-law Alison, Michael and girlfriend Brittany, and Skyler; her grandchildren were her whole world Olivia, Harper and newest edition who arrived on February 12th, Logan Bruce Golt. Lisa was able to meet her first grandson and show him so much love. She is also survived by her mother Wilhelmina Wright; her two brother's Joe and Chris; and her trusty dog Indie that was always glued to her side.
She was predeceased by her father Joseph Wright; and her best friend Michelle Barry.
Lisa dedicated 30 years to the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier and was beloved by her customers. When her grandmother required assistance in her later years, Lisa with no hesitation quit her job to move in to provide her support. She was a Sunday school teacher and won Catholic Teacher of the Year. She was a Cub Scout leader of the Preston Pack 461. With a busy schedule, she never missed a single game, performance, or key moment in her three talented sons lives.
Lisa loved crafting with and spoiling her two granddaughters, gardening, long walks to the river, dance parties, camping, doing yard work to make her house a home, decorating for every holiday, weekly family dinners, and spending time with family. She radiated beauty inside and out in so many different ways.
A visitation will be held at Framptom Funeral Home by the Coales in Federalsburg on Tuesday, March 4,2025 from 6pm until 8pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on the following day Wednesday, March 5, 2025 starting at 11am with a second visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston.
