Loretta Willoughby's Obituary
Loretta R. Willoughby of Preston, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton. She was 79 years old.
She was born on November 9, 1928 in Preston, the daughter of the late Clarence Morgan and Minnie Miller Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis John Willoughby on July 11, 2001.
She graduated from Preston High School. She worked at the service station in Harmony along with her husband for several years, and retired from Waverly Press in Easton after 19 years of service.
She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Roger Willoughby and his wife, Becky, Joyce Alderman and her husband, Giles, Donald Willoughby and his wife, Barbara, Dale Harrison and his wife, Linda, all of Preston, Betty Harrison of Secretary, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen A. Willoughby on May 12, 1993, two sisters, Geneva H. Willoughby and Mae Harrison, and two nephews, Sammy Harrison and Jerry Willoughby.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Glenn Staehli and Rev. William Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
