Louise Edna Fearins' Obituary
Louise Edna Fearins of Denton, formerly of Salisbury, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton, Maryland. She was 95.
She was born on October 30, 1917, in Federalsburg, Maryland the daughter of the late Daniel Williams and Dolly Tolson Williams.
After graduating from Federalsburg High School, she married Hayward Fearins. They made their home in Federalsburg and during this time, she was assistant cafeteria manager at Federalsburg High School. Upon her retirement she moved to Salisbury where her husband worked for the University of Maryland Poultry Experimental Station. She was a former member of First Church of God in Federalsburg and presently a member of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church in Salisbury, where she had faithfully taught Sunday School at both churches. In 2008, she moved to the Gables at Caroline Assisted Living, where she nearly lived four years before moving to Caroline Nursing Home. At both facilities she made new friends and was able to witness for the Lord many times. She loved to cook and was a good student of the Bible. She enjoyed collecting shells and stones.
She is survived by many nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward and three nieces, Jean Morris, Nancy Schiff, and Pat Beebe.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Pastor Bill Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 11 to 12 p.m on Thursday.
