Louise F Nichols' Obituary
Louise F. Nichols passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her home in Hurlock, MD. She was 88.
She was born on January 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Conrad and Caroline K. Fuchs of Preston, MD.
She graduated from Preston High School with the class of 1948 and went on to attend the Bard-Avon Business School in Baltimore, MD. She was employed by a number of businesses in the local area, working in business, banking, insurance and law. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston, MD, where she was a member of the Senior Choir and Ladies Aid. She was a grateful 35 year cancer survivor who enjoyed caring for her flowers and landscape, and growing fruits and vegetables in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband R. Alan Nichols and her siblings, James H. Fuchs, Edward C. Fuchs, and Caroline F. Oliphant.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Isenberg Short (Robert) of Millsboro, DE, and Janice A. Isenberg of Preston, MD; a grandson, Frederick Short of Arlington, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
