Lyle and I had so much fun snow skiing in many different places, and of course he was an expert. We have all been blessed to have been involved with Lyle at some point in time. I will miss you my friend.

Lyle built our home 13 years ago in Seaford DE. We had a wonderful experience with Lyle and recommended him to others. He was a hard working, honest man who loved his family very much. Our prayers are with his family, he left us way to soon.

Crosscut Builders (Lyle) built our house in 2004. Lyle came highly recommended and we were never disappointed with his work and dedication. He was honest and a became more than just a contractor to us. I would see him annually serving at the Greenwood Mennonite Booth at the Delaware State Fair where he would be clearing tables and wiping trays. Sadly we didn't get to visit this year.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this unbelievable difficult time. As stated he was very proud of his four girls. Fly high my friend until we meet again.
My deepest sympathy to the Hamilton family! Praying Gods peace and comfort over your family. Lyle was a great and genuine man that will be greatly missed! ♥️

You don't get to meet many people who are special as Lyle was. It was immediately apparent that he was a good and humble man. I wish I had had the opportunity to have spent more time in his company. His example is reflected in his family's values and in each of their spirits. I am very saddened for their loss. I pray that they are comforted by the memories of the time they got to spend with him.

So sorry to have lost such a great man so early. I have many fond memories of Lyle, from the time he helped us with building our home to the good times we shared in our band and worship teams together. He was a friend to many and will truly be missed!

We met Lyle in the fall on 2001 when we brought him the rough plans for our new retirement home outside Georgetown. He came highly recommended to us by our son Mike who bought a spec house from Lyle across the street from the Hamilton home in Greenwood. We only knew him for about a year but were impressed with the quality of the homes he built and his sterling reputation. We can attest to that. He was an amazing man, so easy to work with and as honest as they come. Our experience led is to recommend him to many of our friends . This came as a shock to us and we pray for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

From the outside, you would say I built a house with this man.
For him and I, we would say we built a home together.
I have nothing but fond memories of working along Lyle. I met him while working along side Syd at the station. We spent the better part of a year doing so many projects creating a wonderful home for his family as I saved up money to start mine. I owe a lot of great conversations about God and family to those work days and I appreciated every bit of them. Lyle enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and shared them with others. Few things beats a greenwood chicken midway through a hard workday.
I am proud to have known him and I am praying for his favorite conversation piece, his family. Syd, thank you so much for sharing your husband with me.
With Love,
Luke
I am so very sorry for the loss of such a good man! I was blessed as a teenager to know Lyle. He was a good friend to many, had a great sense of humor, and loved the Lord. My heart and prayers are with all his family!
