Lynetta Anne Jump's Obituary
Lynetta "Lynn" A. Jump of St. Michaels, Maryland passed away at age 70 at Compass Hospice after a hard fought battle with breast cancer.
Lynn enjoyed caring for others and made a living as an in-home caregiver for the last 20 years after achieving her CNA & GNA. Lynn worked for many years as a waitress and loved meeting new people. Lynn was born on August 13, 1946 to the late John Franklin Berridge, Jr. and Lorretta Mary Berridge. She was preceded in death by her brother John Franklin Berridge, III and her husband of 27 years, Jesse James Jump.
Lynn is survived by her sister Beverly Doyle and her husband Bill. Two sons, Scott W. Ramey and his wife Linda of Tigard, OR and Douglas O. Ramey, Jr. and his wife Dawn of Federalsburg, MD. Two grandchildren Douglas O. Ramey, III and Jessica M. Ramey, who were truly the light of her life.
A step-daughter, Marsha Arledge, Three step-grandchildren, Jessika Oldham and her husband Jon, Zachary Neves and his wife Rosa and Davey Arledge. Three step-great grandchildren Jacob Oldham, Joshua Oldham and Zahra Neves as well as many other beloved family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1 p.m. at St. Lukes United Methodist Church in St. Michaels.
