Kim Rosebrock's Obituary
M. Kim Rosebrock of Preston, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She was 68.
She was born on October 1, 1956 in Easton, Maryland; the daughter of the late Charles Jones and Blanche Fluharty Jones.
She graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1974. She was married to Rex Rosebrock on October 4, 1975 and they made their home in Preston.
Kim was a dedicated member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston, where she found joy and fellowship among her church family. For 33 years, she served as a bus driver for the Caroline County School System, where she lovingly transported countless students. Kim cherished her time on the bus, eagerly anticipating the growth and milestones of the young lives she came to know so well.Her love of animals was evident throughout her life; she found great joy in caring for numerous horses on her farm and sharing her home with her faithful dog, Bella. Kim possessed a green thumb, as gardening and nurturing her beloved flowers provided her with comfort and happiness. In her free time, she enjoyed restoring antiques, breathing new life into cherished treasures, and creating lasting memories with her family.
She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Rex Rosebrock of Preston; two sons: Mark Rosebrock and his wife Natalie of Laurel, Montana and Jeff Rosebrock and his wife Molly of Hurlock, Maryland; four grandchildren: Samantha Rosebrock, Isabelle Rosebrock, Brendan Rosebrock and Alexandra Foreman; four siblings: Steve Faulkner of Federalsburg, Cindy Whaley and her husband Stephen and Carla Little and her husband Timmy all of Laurel, Delaware, and Valerie Ebling and her husband Doug of Ridgely, Maryland; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie Donovan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 11:00 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Preston with the Reverend David Casey-Motley officiating. Interment will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the start of the service.
