I am just now learning of Ms Boncellas passing. She was such a wonderful and kind person. She taught me in the 6th grade and was my Girl Scout leader. She went above and beyond to make learning fun.
Marcia was one of a kind person. You never knew what she was going to share. Times with her were fun. Though laid back she was serious about her teaching and did it well. One day she came out of the closet in the teacher's room. When asked what she was doing, she told us that she went in to change her mind. That made the rest of the day pleasant. She was a good Spirit-filled person. We will miss her and reccomend her to our dear Lord.

Marcia was a wonderful woman. She had a wicked wit, great sense of humor! She wished the best for everyone. She liked my chicken liver pate; some say it's not good for you - she said bah humbug! I agreed and am grateful she liked my recipe. She will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers to Becky and her family, jan and charlie bohn
I knew Marcia as fun and creative, smiling through challenges, and always trying her best to help others. She has been a friend to many in our community-- through teaching, through her service in the Meals on Wheels program, and through her involvement in the 4-H program at University of Maryland Extension-- and so much more. Kind and selfless, it is a blessing to have known her. Sending love to Becky and the rest of the family-- lean on the love that surrounds you.

Mrs.Boncella was my Elementary School Teacher she was a nice lady My Deepest Condolences to the Family

I taught with Marcia my first year of teaching at Denton Elementary. She taught me more about teaching in six months than I ever learned in college. Her humor, her love of her students, her creativity, and her laidback approach made life good for everyone she met. She was a friend, an inspiration, and overall just a wonderful person. She will be missed but her spirit will remain with all of us whose lives she touched. Rest In Peace my friend.

Mrs. Boncella was my teacher in elementary school. She was such a sweet lady and a wonderful teacher. Sending my thoughts and prayers to her family during this difficult time.
