Margaret F. Delano's Obituary
Margaret F. Delano of East New Market, MD passed away on Monday, April 13, 2009
at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge, MD. She was 77 years old.
She was born Feb. 13, 1932 in Savannah, GA, the daughter of the late Edward and Ella Dominick. Her husband Mark “Bob” Delano preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 2000.
She was a homemaker and dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her interests included Bingo and the Food Network.
She is survived by six children, Valarie Mahlbacher of Clayton, DE, Mickey Delano, Sr. and his wife, Sandy, of Federalsburg, MD, M. Andy Delano, Sr. of East New Market, Terry Williamson and her husband, Rusty, of Williamsburg, MD, Randy H. Delano and his wife, Dawn, of Seaford, DE and Robin Brooks and her husband, Walt, Sr., of East New Market; 20 grandchildren;
23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson; a brother John Dominick of Bellingham, WA, and a special sister-in-law, Terry Dominick of Mt. Savage, MD. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, R. Mark Delano who died May 5, 2003 and by
5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery near Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
