Margaret W. Hallowell's Obituary
Margaret Williamson Hallowell of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge, MD. She was 82 years old
She was born March 16, 1926 in Friendship, near Federalsburg, MD, the daughter of the late Ormond Fisher Williamson and Lillian Susan Kent Williamson. Her husband, William Robert Hallowell, Sr. preceded her in death.
She was a Federalsburg High School class of 1943. She was a homemaker. Margaret loved the Lord and she was a blessing to everyone she met.
She is survived by two sons, William Robert “Bill” Hallowell, Jr. of Moncks Corner, SC and Jeffrey S. Hallowell of Federalsburg; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A son, Donald Robert Hallowell, a grandson, John Paul Jones, Jr., a sister, Joanne Wroten, and two brothers Linwood Williamson and James Ormond Williamson all preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be William Robert Hallowell, II, Shane Kenneth Hallowell, Donald Robert Hallowell, Jr., Brandon Phillips, Brent Phillips, and Dustin Tiley; honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Diehl and Mike Bramble.
