I was sorry to hear Aunt Etta had passed. I will always remember her sweet spirit and kind heart. Rest in peace.
I can remember Aunt Etta as far back as my mind can take me. She was my mother, Catherine's, best friend, a sister, and was much as she was loved by my mother she was loved by my sister and I. All the good ole times when I would watch her sing songs, dance, laugh and just be herself. All the memories through the good times and bad times. I will love you forever. I will love you forever. My Aunt Etta, snazzy, funny, good to me. If this could only be a bad dream and she would be on the telephone again. I love you; I love you. Terry
Hi! Patricia Tompkins here. I worked with Marge Tyler for 17 years including part of my student teaching at Chester High School. How fortunate I was to start a career with the guidance of one who was intuitively knowledgeable about people and a master teacher. She was so kind to me. On snowy days when I took the train to work, she would often meet me at the station so I wouldn't have to walk so far. But my fondest memories are of her fashion style (She made sneakers look fabulous with her own design!) and her humor that would lighten the mood of the office when we (there were 7 of us in one office!) were work challenged in some way. She lovingly spoke of her family and how they could SING🎤 and have a good time together. After leaving Chester High in the late 80's, Marge still kept in touch with me. I will miss her calls. We would laugh and talk for no less than an hour. Fishing, Casino, Singing, Remembering!....I will miss Marge. God Bless You All.
Lovingly and Sorrowfully,
Patricia Tompkins
It was a pleasure getting to know Aunt Etta and her family. Her niece, Cheri, and I go back at least 20+ years. Those years include an abundance of cookouts and family gatherings! I am so glad that my husband and I stopped by Ralph's during the July 4th holiday. This was the last time we all sat together and had a good chuckle. Our prayers and blessings are with the family at this time. Aunt Etta will surely be missed!

I still remember when I first moved to Maryland from Delaware. Aunt Etta frequently stopped by my house and put her decoration spin on my house. She told me you need some stuff going on in her. She always will have a big place in my heart!

Aunt Etta. What can I say they just don’t make them like her anymore. Her cheerful nature followed by a lighthearted comment or two never failed to bring a smile to my face. Her love and deep commitment to family was unconditional. Whatever the occasion you could count on Aunt Etta showing up if she knew about. And often she would take it upon herself to patrol the area making sure everything was going well. She will be missed. I’m reminded that those we love don’t go away, they stay with us in our thoughts. You are in my thoughts Aunt Etta.
Love, Niecy
