Maria Dawn Faulkner's Obituary
Maria Dawn Faulkner passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at her home in Greensboro. She was 65.
She was born on November 21, 1954 in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of the late Louis Walls and Virginia Lockwood Scott of Chestertown.
After her education, Maria worked as a server mostly for the former H & G Restaurant in Easton where she made many life-long friends. After that she provided day-care for area children for almost 13 years before her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was married to Randy Faulkner on Valentine's Day in 1989. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2009 after 20 years of marriage.
She is survived by one daughter, Billie Jo Layton of Greensboro, a son., Bruce Layton of FL, five grandchildren: Joshua Layton, Brooke Layton, Karlee Layton, Taylor Layton and Dylan Collins; four great grandchildren: Aurora Layton, Ana Layton, Aubree Layton, and Mateo Lopez; and two brothers: Louis Walls and his wife Donna of Chestertown, and Mark Scott and his wife Amy of Ocean City.
In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-father Billy Scott three brothers: David Walls, Glenn Walls and Kenny Walls and one sister Vivian Morris.
Private services enntursted to the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg.
