Marie Elliott's Obituary
Marie Elliott passed away on March 20, 2026, in Sharpsburg, Georgia. She was 97 years old.
She was born on October 10,1928 in Federalsburg, MD, the daughter of O.J. and Elsie Morgan.
She lived the majority of her life in Seaford, DE, where she worked for Walker Garment Company, then for Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.
She is a past member of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, and a past member of the Seaford VFW Post # 4961, and a past member of the American Legion #6.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, James Elliott as well as her sisters, Norma Lee Towers, Gladys Collins, Shirley Tedley, and Irene Fischer.
She is survived by her four children, Keith Jester ( Brenda), Diane Bergh (Al), Mike Jester (Cindy), Larry Jester ( Denise). She has 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 10 great- great grandchildren.
There will be a Graveside Service on Sunday April 26th at 2pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg, MD. Following the graveside service there will be a Celebration of Life at 3pm at Gethsemane Church Fellowship Hall in Reliance, DE for family and friends.
