I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Recently I lost my dear mother, and found greatcomfort in the words of Jesus at John 11:11-14, where he likens death to being asleep,and at John 5:28,29 - "All those on the memorial tombs will hear his voice and comeout." Arlene/Jennifer - I completely missed Marie's obituary and had no idea of the gathering on the 29th which I certainly would have attended. I could easily have made it & definitely would have, regardless of poker. I've already shared my sympathies with you both but want you to know that I share a small part of your loss. Marie was a delightful person to know (even though my knowing her was brief).
Arlene, I never met Marie, but if she was anything like you, I'm sure she was sweet and kind. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
