Marie M. Stoker Lee's Obituary
Marie M. Stoker Lee died at her home near Vienna on Tuesday, December 25, 2007. She was 87.
She was born in Secretary, MD on October 24, 1920 the daughter of the late
Medford James Stoker and Margaret Saunders Stoker. Her husband, Paul Dashields Lee preceded her in death 9 days ago on December 16, 2007.
She was a packer at Hurlock Pickling Company for 12 years and then worked with her husband, growing produce, on the family farm.
When she was younger she attended church at the present Unity-Washington United Methodist Church including 18 years of perfect attendance. She enjoyed her family, her flowers, and hunting with members of her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Lee Adshead and Nancy Lee Hinnershitz (Harold) both of Vienna, six grandsons, George Adshead, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Danny (Bridget) Adshead of East New Market, MD, Hollie (Sherry) Robbins, Jr. of Vienna, Scott Harrison of North Carolina, and Samuel “Skippy” Harrison and Troy Harrison both of Preston. MD, six great-grandchildren, Dalton Adshead, Skye Adshead, Gavin Adshead, Amanda Robbins, Jenna Robbins and Kara Robbins, a son-in-law, Hollie R. Robbins, Sr. of E. New Market, MD, a sister, Audrey Walden of Hurlock and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Lee at birth and Betty Lee Robbins in 2004, two brothers, Ward Stoker and James Stoker and two sisters, Mattie Stoker Wells and Angeline Stoker Hoffman.
Funeral services for her will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2007 at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Rev. Delmar Willey officiating. Interment will follow in Brookview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m.
