Mark Everett Donovan's Obituary
Mark Everett Donovan passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his home near Seaford, DE. He was 50.
Mark was born on March 10, 1966 in Easton, Maryland the son of the late Sewell Edwin Donovan and Shirley Crowe Donovan Ellis of Federalsburg, MD.
Mark graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1984. After graduation, Mark worked as an electrician for many years. Mark was married to Wendy Salmons Donovan on October 25, 1986. Later, he was called into the ministry. He was a licensed Church of God minister from Cleveland, TN. Mark pastored churches for many years in Eden and Troy, North Carolina before returning home to Seaford. He was a past member of Park Lane Church of God. He loved the beach, being outdoors, the Dallas Cowboys, and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Mark is survived by his wife, Wendy Salmons Donovan of Seaford, DE, two children, Megan Hudson and her husband Chris of Delmar, DE, a son, Brandon Donovan and his wife Rebekah of Galestown, MD, one sister, Dena Quinton and her husband Jimmy of Easton, and two nephews, Alan Culver and his wife Andrea of Bridgeville, DE and Aaron Culver and his wife Jessica of Montana.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Dr. David Salmons from New Bern, NC officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00.
