Mark Allen Dufendach, Sr.'s Obituary
Mark A. Dufendach, Sr. died on Friday June 21, 2024 at Bayhealth, Sussex campus, Milford. He was 88.
Born in Milford, DE; on December 22, 1935 he was the son of the late Willard and Helen Garvin Dufendach. After graduating High school from Fork Union Military Academy he enlisted in the Air Force where he served Honorably. Following his release from active duty he worked briefly at the Dover Air Force Base and then served as an electrician at General Foods, now Kraft Heinz, in Dover for more than 32 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Houston United Methodist Church, and a loyal member of the Temple Lodge AF & AM Masons.
Mr. Dufendach is survived by his wife Nera Dufendach whom he married in 1959. One son; Mark A. Dufendach, Jr. (spouse Debby) of Bridgeville, Grandchildren; Devon Miller, Andrew Dufendach, Eric Drury, Adam Drury, and Kate Drury. Great grandchildren; Zen Dufendach, and Emmi Miller. A son-in-Law David Drury. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved daughter; Marla Drury, one brother; John Thomas Dufendach, and one sister; Betty Lou Dufendach.
A Funeral service will be held at the Framptom Funeral Home- Fleischauer Chapel, Greenwood, DE. on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at 10:00AM.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made t the Shriners Hospital for Children 3551 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
