Mark Bradley Hess' Obituary
Mark Bradley Hess of Rhodesdale, Maryland passed away at Tidal Health at Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. He was 51.
He was born on December 3, 1972 in Easton, Maryland the son of the late Wayne Elias Hess and Joyce Phillips Hess of Cambridge.
Growing up in Cambridge, he volunteered with Church Creek Vol. Fire Company and later with Lloyd Vol. Fire Company. He graduated from Cambridge South Dorchester with the class of 1991. He enlisted with the United States Marines and served for 8 years prior to his honorable discharge.
He returned home to Cambridge and worked for Royal Metro Ambulance for many years all while continuing to serve with area fire companies. He was last serving with Eldorado-Brookview.
He married Christy Roe on March 30, 2020 and they made their home in Rhodesdale. He enjoyed collecting knives, volunteering within the local community and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Christy Hess of Rhodesdale, Maryland, a daughter Abbey DeCarlo-Wilson and her husband Jack of Federalsburg, a brother J. Erik Hess and his wife Carol of Knoxville, TN, and two nieces Nina and Gretchen; a sister-in-law Lisa Roe and two close friends Brian Roche and Jim Arnaiz.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by twin granddaughters.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Pastor David Talley officiating. Entombment will follow at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00.
