Claiborne, Martha “Faye†Phillips of Claiborne went to be the Lord surrounded by her family on August 17, 2014 at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore. She was 66. Born in St. Michaels on December 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Marion C. Watts, Sr, and Altha George Watts. Faye was raised in St. Michaels where she attended public school. She worked as a waitress for many years at Hudson Pharmacy “The Coveâ€. She loved talking, having coffee, and laughing with her friends. In her youth Faye loved to dance, she will be greatly missed by everyone she touched. Faye is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years; Kenneth W. Phillips Sr. of Claiborne, two children Kenneth Wayne Phillips, Jr. (Melissa) of Holliday, FL., Carrie Jo Phillips Robbins (Jim) of Easton, and a self-appointed son Allen Bryan, Jr. of St. Michaels; Six Grandchildren Brandon Phillips, Courtney Lomax, Joseph Phillips, Nijah Copper, Kaidence Phillips, Jazmyn Phillips, and a self-appointed granddaughter Kelley Ann Murray; One brother Jack Watts (Betty), One sister; Betty Rose Robinson (Wallace deceased), all of St. Michaels; Six sister in laws, Gloria Watts of St. Michaels, Estella Curnutt (Jim) of Altoona, FL., Mary Jane Robbins (Fred) of Tioga, Pa., Joanne Douglas (Joseph deceased) of Eustis, FL., Edith Murray(Mike Lednum) of Tilghman,Md.,Tammy Epling of KY.; One Brother in law, John Phillips, Jr. Three Uncles, Wayne Burfield of Elkland, PA., Carl â€Jim†Belz (Judy), Gary Belz (Jeanette) both of Tioga, Pa.; Special Friends/Cousins, Betty Ruth Shortall of McDaniel, Kay McQuay, Cathy Foster, and Brenda Wilson all of Tilghman. Along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Faye was preceded in death by a sister; Ginger Watts, Two brothers; Marion C. “Buster†Watts, Jr. (Lorriane), and Paul D. Watts. A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, on Saturday September 6, 2014 at the Royal Oak Community United Methodist Church, Royal Oak, MD. In lieu of flowers donations are being excepted, and can be made out to Kenneth Phillips, 8987 Glebe Creek RD, Easton, Md. 21601 Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home, St. Michaels, Md
