Martina W. Cannon's Obituary
Our mother, Martina White Cannon (known to family and friends) of Delmar, DE departed this earthly life Sunday, October 3, 2021. She was 67. Marty was born on January 19, 1954 in Laurel, DE. Marty was the daughter of the late Brooks and Hattie (Kellam) White.
She was a devoted and loving caregiver for many years. Marty loved traveling and spending time with family and friends. Marty was a member of Rehobeth Temple of Praise located in Laurel, DE.
She is survived by her two daughters; Tara Thompson (son -in-law Alphonso) and Tammy White, one son Anthony White, seven grandchildren: Erica, Devon II, Terrell, De'Jon, Preston, Arianna, Anthony Jr; three great-grandchildren: Devon IV, Sade, Aiden, and Marley; one Brother, Keith White (sister-n-law Stephanie), one sister, Faye Gillespie (brother-in-law Courtney); one aunt Nellie (Cherry) Topping; nephew/son: Jermaze White and a special close friend Anthony Shields, and family members whom she held dear and near to her heart.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Preston Anthony Cannon, brothers Brooks and Derrick White one sister Betty Snead.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 2-3pm at Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood, DE. Interment will be private.
