Mary Lyle Brolin's Obituary
Mary Lyle Brolin of Federalsburg passed away peacefully at her home after an extended illness on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She was 92 years old.
Born in the District of Columbia to the late Milton and Louise Brandt she was also the wife of the late Chancy Brolin. Mary was a librarian in the Caroline County Library System and was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Homemaker Circle of Caroline County. Known for her crochet work she was an avid reader and painted with oils.
Along with her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by one brother William Brandt.
Survivors include her daughter Linda McNally and her husband Jack of Federalsburg; sister-in-law Anna May Brolin Riley and niece Joy Anderson of Brandywine, MD; sister-in-law Joy Bell Brolin Melvin and her husband Ronnie of Chester, MD; and sister-in-law Mary Brolin of Laurel, MD. Also surviving her is a best friend Pat McCutchen of West Virginia; and an "adopted son" James Peele and his wife Chris of South Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg on Friday, December 15, 2023 starting at 3pm with Pastor Marie Coulbourne officiating. The family will receive callers for one our prior to the service.
