Easton, Mary Jane Jones went to Heaven on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was 85. Born In Charlottesville, VA on July 7, 1930. She was the daughter of the late James and Clara Marshall of St Michaels. After attending St Michaels High School she married Elbert “Buttercup†Jones of Wittman in September 1948. They built and made their home there until he passed away in June 1999. Mary worked at many jobs during her lifetime: McDaniel canning houses for tomatoes and crabs, St Michaels Tasty Freeze, Sewing Factory, Hudson’s Pharmacy, Easton Hospital, Carpenter Street, and retired from Celeste Industries. Her greatest love was for her family. She is survived by her daughter; Shelia Jones, granddaughter Marsha Arledge and great grandson Dave Arledge all of Wittman. A sister Annabel Marshall of Amhearst, VA and is preceded in death by a sister Elizabeth Hudson-Willis of Trappe. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27th at 1:00PM, at the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. St. Michaels, where a viewing will be held from noon until 1:00PM.
