Mary Ann Martin's Obituary
Mary Ann Martin passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton in Easton, Maryland. She was 60.
She was born on August 25, 1956, the daughter of the late John W. Robinson and the late Eileen D. Banning Robinson.
She was a graduate of Colonel Richardson High School class of 1974. She married her husband Michael P. Martin on June 9, 1979. A dedicated Army wife of 28 years, she attended Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church where she would occasionally play the piano. She loved music. She enjoyed sewing, playing the piano, and her flower gardens, but most of all enjoyed making new friends and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Michael P. Martin, SFC, Retired U.S. Army, a son, Jason Daniel Martin, two daughters, Stephanie Martin Jewell and her husband Joshua W., Jennifer Michelle Martin, her grandson, Mason Edward Jewell, and her brother William “Billy” H. Robinson and his wife Elaine.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 12:30pm at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD, with the Reverend Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veteran’s Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. A visitation will be held Thursday August 24, 2017 from 6-8pm as well as a calling hour immediately before the service from 11:30-12:30pm where the family will receive friends.
