Mary E. Christopher's Obituary
Mary E. Christopher of Easton, MD passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at The Memorial Hospital at Easton. She was 93.
She was born May 17, 1916 near Hurlock, MD, the daughter of the late William Burton Venables and Maude Nevisa Ellis Venables.
She had been employed by the former Sewing Factory in Hurlock many years ago. She had worked at Mechlenberg High School in food preparation for over 30 years, retiring in 1979.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lloyd R. Christopher, a niece Sharon Lee McGrath and her husband George of Hurlock, great nephews Brad Dietrick and his wife Candy of Delmar, MD and Raymond Dietrick and his wife Shannon of Hurlock, great niece Carrie Elzey and her husband Howard, and 7 great-great-nieces and nephews, Destiny, Dylan, Dorian, Lauren, Madison and Zoe Dietrick and Emily Elzey.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at 2:00p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Hughart officiating. Interment will follow in Fireman’s Cemetery in Sharptown, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
