Mary Frances Morgan's Obituary
Mary Frances Morgan, formerly of Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge. She was 90.
Born July 18, 1920 in Federalsburg, MD, daughter of the late Joseph Hall Poyner and Mary E. Gambrill Poyner. Her husband Hayden S. Morgan preceded her in death in 1988.
She served her country in the United States Army during WW II serving from 1943 to 1945 as a teletype operator. She worked in Medical Records until retiring in 1991 from West Texas Hospital. She was a former member of the VFW Post and Disabled Veterans. She was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Federalsburg and the Asbury United Methodist Church in Lubbock, TX.
She is survived by a nephew and caregiver, Brice Morris and several nieces, and many great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with sharing of memories at 2:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will be in Lubbock Cemetery in Lubbock, TX.
