Maude L Elliott's Obituary
Maude L. Elliott, of Cambridge, departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Envoy of Denton Healthcare Facility. She was 94 years old.
Maude was born on May 25, 1921 in Delaware and was the daughter of the late Oscar Elliot, Sr. and Myrtle Tillman Elliott. Maude attended Dorchester County Public Schools.
Maude and Albert Bradford formed a civil union and were together for many, many years until he preceded her in death on June 3, 1976. Maude was a home maker and could often be found in the kitchen preparing a delicious meal for her family.
Maude is preceded in death by her brothers, William, Oscar Jr., Herbert, and Henry, her sister, Elsie Mae Thompson, and her grandson Walter C. Elliott, Jr. Esq.
Maude is survived by her sons, Wilfred D. Elliott (Rose) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Walter C. Elliott, Sr.(Joanne) of Baltimore, MD, and three grandchildren, Melody P. Elliott, Monica L. Elliott, and Wanda C. Elliott.
She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held of Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Ministry with Reverend Willie Jackson officiating. A visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will take place at Thompsontown Cemetery in East New Market.
