Melissa Pritchett's Obituary
Melissa Sue Pritchett (Cowgill) of Federalsburg passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 23, 2023. She was 55 years old.
Born October 28, 1968 in Chestertown, MD, she was the daughter of Palmer Cowgill and the late Joanne Rebecca Larrimore Kleacan.
Melissa enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her dear grandchildren. She would love to have them over on Sunday's for "Sunday Funday" dinner. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary #5246. In her free time, she enjoyed going to the races, catching glimpses of the hummingbirds flying by and loving on her dogs, "Tucker & Bristol".
Melissa is survived by her son Paul Lukascwicz and his wife Tiffanie of Federalsburg; daughter Ashley Lukaszcwicz of Sudlersville; her grandchildren Abriella Grace Lukaszcwicz, Paul Lukaszcwicz III, Timothy Wayne Lukaszcwicz, and Adelynne Paige Lukaszcwicz, all of Federalsburg; her siblings Pete Young and his wife Brenda of Ingleside, Pamela Boulden and her husband Robert of Crumpton, and Christine Petrone and her husband Steve of Greenwood; her loving companion Eric Padgett of Federalsburg and many nieces and nephews in the Eaton, Young, Caraballo and Petrone families.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca Lukaszcwicz.
A visitation will be held Monday, July 1 at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be announced at a later date.
