Merrill Elwood , Sr. Lahman's Obituary
Merrill Elwood Lahman, Sr. of Hurlock, MD passed away at Dorchester General Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2008. He was 83.
He was born in Newark, Delaware, son of the late Elwood P. Lahman and Monolia Frampton Lahman.
He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5246 of Federalsburg. He loved to go fishing and boating. He also enjoyed doing wood working and was a craftsman.
He is survived by five children, Jessie Lea Dodson of North Port, FL, Thomas Clayton, Merrill Elwood Lahman, Jr., Suzanne Lahman all of Preston, MD, Gary Lahman of Seaford, DE, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and he was one of eleven children.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock
