Michael Lewis Chupp's Obituary
Michael Lewis Chupp of Greenwood passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. He was 56.
He was born on June 10, 1969 in Milford, Delaware; the son of Menno Chupp and Dorothy Miller Chupp of Greenwood.
He graduated from Greenwood Mennonite School with the class of 1987. After his education he worked as a carpenter and cabinet builder. Later he found a passion in lawn care and served many area homes and businesses for many years. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dependability and attention to detail.
He was married to Monica Adams on April 28, 1990 and they made their home in Greenwood.
He was a member of Living Hope Fellowship Church in Greenwood where he sang on the worship team, was on the board of trustees and took great pride in mowing and caring for the church maintenance. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, singing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Monica Adams Chupp of Greenwood; three children: Ashley Bodin and her wife Rachel of Asheboro, NC; Michael Chupp and his wife Kayleigh of Greenwood; and Maddie Long and her husband Clay of Harrington; two grandchildren: Dawson Bodin and Kaine Murray; and three siblings: Charity Byler, David Chupp and Faith Bell.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 1:00 at Living Hope Fellowship Church in Greenwood. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, September 22, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 at the church. Burial will be private.
